Chair Yoga

Wednesdays, in 6-week increments

This is the perfect class for you if you'd like the stretch and de-stress of yoga, but have trouble getting up from the floor. Learn basic poses and stretches that will strengthen your m ind and body. Wear clothing for freedom of movement (no jeans). Please bring a yoga mat and a tension strap (neckties or bathrobe sashes work nicely).

Energize your life! Try yoga to restore and renew your spirit; it is a great way to release tension and stress, and to boost radiance. Wear loose, comfortable clothing. Bring your own mat and tension strap, if you have them.

Renew your energy for fall through the practice of revitalizing Qigong forms and a Yang-style short form of tai chi. Students  discover how to free energy, reduce stress, and build strength, balance, and stamina. Wear flexible, soft-soled shoes and loose clothing. Prior experience in tai chi not required.
