Intermediate students will choose their own patterns and work to advance to more intricate work. They are expected to cut and foil accurately and produce a consistently beaded solder line. Jean will contact each student to challenge them to choose pieces that will increase their skill set. Students will provide glass and materials (solder, flux, foil, patina, etc.) for their project.

This simple beginner’s panel will have you remembering beautiful sunsets! Beginning students will learn the basics by creating a 7”x10” stained glass panel using the copper foil method pioneered by Louis Comfort Tiffany. Stop by CAC for an example of this project. Student Supply List will be supplied at registration.

Building on basic skills from Clay I (required), the Clay II student must be able to wedge clay, center clay on a wheel, and throw a small pot. This class is for the students looking to advance their skills on the wheel. Wear old, comfortable clothes, and bring a towel for your lap/clean up. No long fingernails and please leave your jewelry at home. Also, please stay for clean up after the class.Materials fee of $25 is payable to the Arts Center.

HOOKED ON CROCHET

GLASS FUSION COASTAL DECOR

Pottery Studio Time Available!  Throw on a wheel with an instructor present to create what you’d like! Each 2-hr session is independent. Cost includes 2 hours of wheel time, plus clay. Pieces can be fired/glazed for additional cost (instructor to provide price list). Schedule your Saturday studio time by Friday afternoon. All dates are independent, this is not a class.
