Wanda Baker, Arts Patron Award

Wanda is an over forty-year member of the Arts Center. Her service as a dedicated enthusiast of the center’s efforts through her love of the annual Log House Arts Festival. Wanda’s generosity was demonstrated when she founded the annual Richard Glenn Baker Recognition Awards Luncheon. Her sponsorship gives a cash prize and Waterford Crystal Bowl to both a teacher and volunteer honoree. To date, thirty-four people have been honored.

Elaine Goebert, Arts Patron Award


For 25 years, the Arts Center was an extension of Elaine’s home, as a “Girl Tuesday,” volunteer and member. She was dedicated and assisted with any task. Elaine, a dynamic ambassador in greeting visitors and welcoming them into the center’s artistic realms, encouraging them to visit our exhibits, special events and classes. Some of her favorite events to participate in were the Log House Arts Festival, Holly Bazaar, Auction, and kid’s events.

​Deborah Herbert, Community Service Award

Deborah, a member, has served on the board of directors as President and Vice President of Finance. Her knowledge and willingness to serve has been exceedingly demonstrated by her valued time and numerous in-kind donations. She has been instrumental in the growth and leadership of the organization through the years, a true advocate for the center. Deborah and her son are active volunteers at the Log House Arts Festival.

Dr. James Richey, Community Service Award


James, a member, has served on the board of directors and has served as a Sustaining Fund Drive Committee Member. He has aided the Arts Center’s efforts in the launching and setup of it’s website, through financial support and as a true ambassador for the arts throughout the community in every way, especially for the Community Arts Center. James is an artist, specializing in photography, and an active member of the Greater Johnstown Camera Club.
