The Community Arts Center of Cambria County will be showcasing winners from the 2016 photography competition through the Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation in the Log House gallery. This exhibition includes, local Phyllis Terchanik, president of the Greater Johnstown Camera Club.

About the Pennsylvania Parks and Forests FoundationFounded in 1999, the Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation supports 121 state parks and 2.2 million acres of forest by coordinating volunteers, activities and donations through its 40 chapters. The mission of the foundation is to inspire stewardship of Pennsylvania’s state parks and forests through public engagement in volunteerism, recreation and conservation.

2016 Photo Contest Winners Exhibition

The photos displayed were chosen from more than 400 photographs entered by both amateur and professional photographers. The display includes those awarded 1st and 2nd place by popular vote and a critics’ choice in 7 categories. Also, included in the photo display, are 2 Best In Show photos, awarded by overall popular vote and critics’ choice, as well as 2 honorable mentions. All photos are taken in a Pennsylvania state park or forest.
