The Community Arts Center of Cambria County is proud to be celebrating 50 years as a leader in the nonprofit world of arts affiliated organizations. Over the past few years, we have made an assertive effort to enhance our offerings to the community by means of new classes, workshops, camps, fundraisers, family friendly entertainment, performing arts, and festivals. These efforts are carefully thought out for the intent of creating a better tomorrow through art today. We acknowledge and commend the support of our members, patrons, friends, and local leaders who continually support us. You are among those that help us reach our goals in this ever-uncertain economic world. The Community Arts Center knows that it is a necessity to meet the needs of our community by offering more artistic cultural programming and events.
87% of our Operating Budget comes from public dollars donated by the business community, our members and friends. The outpouring of generous support from our community is the reason we can celebrate 50 years of keeping the Arts Alive in our region.
It’s our goal to maintain and enhance our existing events while creating exciting new ones.
Therefore, we are asking for your financial support to guarantee the success of our more than 21 programs. Your support helps to make our endeavors possible: Adult/Kids Art & Cooking Classes, ARTy pARTies, Exhibits by local and regional artists, Greater Johnstown Young Artists Exhibit, Allied Artists Summer Exhibition, Summer Art Camps, Workshops, 38th Free Summer Concerts-on-the-Green, 47th Log House Arts Festival & Kid’s Kingdom, Weekly Art Gatherings, Community Outreach Programs, Great American Auction, Book Sale, 47th Holly Bazaar Holiday Gift Show, Basket Bonanza and Festival of Wooden Christmas Trees; as well as our newer efforts: Artists on the Lawn, Classic Car Cruise, Celebrating a Legacy, American Girl Doll Family-A-Fair, Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre, Sky Dance Theatre, Coffee House Series, Kentucky Derby Tea, Dessert Theatre, and Tag Sales.
