Hailing from Johnstown, PA, Max Fedore is an accomplished artist and understated star. The Richland High School graduate won the competitive gold award at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences 44th annual Student Academy Awards ceremony in Hollywood, for his Opera of Cruelty, which was his thesis film for New York University’s Tisch School for the Arts. From live concerts in Johnstown to a musical performance in his own film, earning him the prestigious filmmaking award, Max returned to Johnstown this past October to perform for the Community Arts Center's 50th Anniversary Gala.​​
