One of the most popular romantic comedies of the century, Same Time, Next Year, ran four years on Broadway, winning a Tony® Award, and remains one of the world’s most widely produced plays. The plot follows a love affair between two people, Doris and George, married to others, who rendezvous once a year. Twenty-five years of manners and morals are hilariously and touchingly played out by the lovers. Rated PG-13, for adult content and language.

Madison Eppley (Doris)- is delighted to take part in this production. She has previously performed with Band of Brothers Shakespeare Co., where she took part in King Lear as Cordelia and Little Shop of Horrors as Audrey. Her other recent acting roles took place at UPJ, where she currently attends for Communications and Theatre Arts. Such productions include Robin Hood (Bronwen) and Fear and Misery in the Third Reich (Ensemble Cast). Madison is a graduate of Westmont Hilltop where she worked with directors Rodney Eatman and Biff Baron. In her “spare time,” she enjoys baking, reading as much as she can, singing, and playing board games. She would like to thank her teachers for their encouragement and support, as well as her family for loving her unconditionally.

Kieran Cullen (George) - is 18 and is currently attending Conemaugh Township High School as a senior. For most of his young life, Kieran has been involved with theatre, participating in nearly 15 musical shows since sixth grade. Some of his favorite roles played include, Seymour Krelborn from “Little Shop of Horrors” and Pippin from “Pippin”. At the moment, Kieran is also preparing to perform in Conemaugh Township’s 2019 musical, “Newsies” as the leading man, Jack Kelly.

“Same Time Last Year” is Kieran’s first casual play (disregarding Shakespeare in the Park). He is very excited to what new doors this experience may open in his future.

“Theatre has got to be one of my favorite things to do ever. I use it as an escape from my own environment and create a new world for myself. Like a world where there are too many women in my life.”
